On Wednesday 5 April 2017 Touching Africa started a basic course in Entrepreneurship at the Real Life Community Centre in Extension 11, Ikageng. It was a dream come true. When we first set our feet on the site we said that one day when we earn the place we will build a place where we can conduct courses. It is four years later and we were able to use our own facilities to host the training.
Peter Afrika was instrumental in the whole development and he recruited people to attend the course. It was done on three Wednesdays and four Tuesdays from 18:00 -20:00 in the evening.
In the end seven very excited people finished the course and the graduation ceremony took place on Saturday the 3rd of June 2017. These people now become part of our BEEP and will be coached and mentored by Touching Africa.
We are really looking forward to see how many new businesses will start as a result of this intervention.
