The 2018 Touching Africa Leadership workshop was held on Friday, the 16th of November at the beautiful Lekwena Wildlife Estate on the outskirts of Potchefstroom. Approximately 30 delegates, traveling from as far afield as Cape Town, Pretoria, and Johannesburg met together to discuss the vision of Touching Africa and the way forward.
The year-end of 1988/1989, 30 years ago, was a very strategic turning point in my life, just like today, 2018/2019! I turned 30 then, and Christa and I had just entered the privileged age of having children, with Pieter born in 1987.
